ADHD Parents Movie

I was recently contacted by Josh Pull, co-founder of dysTalk, to let me know about his site.

dysTalk is a site that is dedicated to “helping your child learn better”. I think it’s a very valuable resource for parents and children.

dysTalk features “talks” – videos presented by doctors, professors and other professionals – on a variety of subjects concerning learning and learning disabilities. There are forums for parents to connect, articles, resources, and a newsletter.

I have to say that this is one of the most comprehensive sites I’ve seen in a long time that addresses learning and learning disabilities, and I applaud Josh and his co-founders for their unique approach in offering video resources.

I was also impressed with the scope of this site, addressing such subjects as dysgraphia and dyscalculia. (Dysgraphia relates to handwriting, dyscalculia to math – both are familiar to me personally because of my children.)

The forum looks like a lively place, which is always a good sign. An active forum can be a great source of information and support, and is often a very hard thing to establish. The fact that dysTalk’s forum is so active is a testament to the quality of information they provide.

The Resource section of the site is quite amazing – there are books, links, schools and professionals listed. You can even search by country!

If you’re still reading this article, I urge you to stop now and go visit dysTalk. I’m sure you will find it just as valuable as I do.
