The state of California allows doctors to prescribe medical marijuana as a form of treatment. I don’t really keep up with the topic because it’s not of interest. I always assumed that most medical marijuana was for treating cancer or glaucoma. I had no idea that doctors were using it for ADHD, but apparently they are.

The state of California doesn’t keep records on what the marijuana is prescribed for, so we have no numbers on how many kids are using it medicinally.

As you might imagine, there are those who support the idea and those who do not. While my inclination is to disapprove of the idea, the truth is I know next to nothing about marijuana and how it affects the brain, other than the stuff we all see on tv.
