If you have an ADD Student, you’ve also got one messy kid. They’ll try to tell you that they can find anything in that mess that they need, but we know that’s not true.
How many times has a morning been rushed because they couldn’t find their shoes or their backpack or something else they needed?
As I was preparing to write this post, I did some research on helping kids get organized. Oh, and by the way – this isn’t a one time thing. It’s a habit that has to be learned and repeated over and over again.
I found an excellent article from the folks at Kids Health that talks about helping your child learn organization.
I like the fact that the article breaks the process down into simple steps and includes ideas on how to begin and how to stay focused. I was also impressed by the fact that you can listen to the article if you prefer.
This one is definitely worth a read – or a listen!
